Cyril ROBERT joined the estate of his parents in 2000 after studying viticulture at the excellent Amboise wine college, while Catherine MEDARD studied wine business before working with the great Jacky Blot at the Domaine de la Taille aux Loups across the Loire in Montlouis. After 10 years with Jacky, Catherine re-joined the family domaine in 2013, bringing some nice ideas on how to really take the domaine and its wines a step further. Together, they officially took over the estate from their parents in 2013.
Since 2013, they have gradually reviewed the style of their wines, to expand the range of Vouvray proposed until now by their parents. Their ambition today is to extract the best of their clay-flint clay and limestone clay vouvrillon soil, gaining precision in the expression of Chenin Blanc.
